Satsang Ashram is one of the major religious establishments of India with over 2000 branches worldwide and is related to is related with Radhaswami sect. Satsang Deoghar is the main branch of Satsang started by Thakur Anukul Chandra and is located on the south-west of Deoghar.
The Ashram situated at Satsangnagar has large buildings with rooms and dormitories where people from different places of India and abroad can stay during their visits to the Ashram. The Ashram has a free kitchen named ‘Anandabazar’ for those who visit the Ashram and who stay there permanently.
At present there are more than two thousand branches of Satsang located not only in India but also Bangladesh, Burma, Europe and America. Satsang Vihars (centres) have been set up in several different provinces of India including Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Andhrapradesh, Maharastra, Gujrat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, etc.

Satsang is located at 2 KMs from the Tower Chowk Deoghar in the South West Direction. Regular Autos, Rickshaws and Taxis / Cabs are available. Satsang Nagar itself is a Railway Station located between Jasidih and Baidyanathdham, Deoghar. However only local trains halt at Satsang Nagar
